This week, I’m heading to Los Angeles with big plans for my new album. I’m on the hunt for a label home or some traction to give this project the momentum it deserves.
It’s been a long road to get here. The challenges we’ve faced — from wildfires worse than the earthquake we all feared during my 13 years in LA, to a global pandemic that brought everything to a halt — have been overwhelming. Like many artists, my 2020 album release (Against the World) was completely derailed. Flights canceled, events postponed, and life put on pause.
Fast forward to now: it’s 2024, and I’m ready to move forward with Generation XLNT. This album features 11 new tracks and a unique intro I titled “1ntro” (because, hey, it’s the first track).
For some of us, the dream hasn’t been realized yet, and this might be our last chance to make it happen. But as Yoda said, “There is another.” Here’s to never giving up and chasing what matters most.
Stay tuned for updates from LA!
